Our Story is a
Beautiful One!

OUR VISION
It all began in 2023 with a vision, a realization that came while working within the nonprofit sector. We noticed something important: so many organizations were doing incredible, purpose-driven work, yet their visual presence didn’t reflect the depth of their impact. They had powerful missions and meaningful services, but lacked the polished headshots, cohesive branding, and strong visual identity that their counterparts had.We knew they deserved better representation, so we stepped out on faith and started GLOS "pronounced like gloss".

OUR WHY
Our “why” is deeply personal. It was born from vulnerability, from the journey of learning to feel beautiful and confident, and from the experience of feeling overlooked. We understand what it means to want to be truly seen, valued, and fully represented. That understanding is the foundation of everything we do. As mothers and wives, we also believe that building your dreams and raising a family can coexist. We want other women to know that you don’t have to choose between nurturing your home and pursuing your purpose ,you can do both, and do them well.

OUR MISSION
As we gained experience working with a wide range of organizations, our mission evolved. We realized we don’t just help people be seen, we align with businesses rooted in purpose, community, and impact. We are passionate about supporting those who serve others and ensuring their branding, imagery, and presence match the power of their work. Today, we are committed to helping purpose-driven businesses and organizations show up confidently, professionally, and authentically, because when impact meets strong representation, communities thrive.

WE'RE THE DUO BEHIND GLOS
MEET THE FOUNDERS, TWO CREATIVES, TWO PERSPECTIVES .

My love for art started when I was very young. I was the kid who loved to draw and who paid attention to colors, details, and how things looked and felt. I have always been drawn to beauty, not in a surface way, but in the way thoughtful design, presentation, and atmosphere can shift how people experience something. I loved beautiful spaces, strong visuals, and the feeling that intention could be seen. That curiosity and desire to shape what people see and feel never left me. That passion led me to study Media Arts and Animation at The Art Institute of Seattle. It was there that I learned how to take what felt natural to me and refine it into skill and structure. I studied there for a period of time, growing in both technical ability and creative confidence. Like many creatives, my path was not a straight line. I stepped away from the arts for a season and worked in the food and hospitality industry. But even during that time, I never stopped creating. I took on design projects here and there, stayed connected to visual work, and kept my creative muscle active. Eventually, I stepped back into the industry in a major way, working for a game publisher for nearly eight years. There, I led creative marketing efforts for multiple indie games, helping shape brand visuals, promotional assets, and campaigns that supported game launches and community growth. That experience strengthened my ability to think strategically about audience, storytelling, and visibility across platforms. After moving to Spokane, I began working in social media marketing for a maternal health organization. That experience deepened my understanding of mission driven storytelling, how to communicate impact, build trust, and show up consistently for a community. From there, everything aligned. I partnered with Amera, and together we founded Glos Creative Studio.

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be Creative. As a Gemini, it’s never been easy to define myself with just one word , but creativity has been the constant thread woven through every season of my life. From my earliest memories, I’ve always been drawn to working with my hands, whether through art, cooking, or building small creative projects from scratch. Creating has never just been something I do; it’s who I am. Over the years, that passion only grew stronger. I’m a self-taught graphic designer who began freelancing right after high school, taking on projects that allowed me to sharpen my skills and build confidence in my craft. After moving to Spokane, I worked with a nonprofit organization where my creativity deepened into purpose. That experience shaped not only my design skills, but my understanding of impact and community. Today, as the co-owner of GLOS, I have the privilege of creating for a living, helping others show up boldly and beautifully through intentional design and storytelling. Beyond my work, I’m a proud mother of two beautiful children and a wife to a loving, supportive husband who continually encourages me to dream bigger. My creativity is fueled by the life I’ve built, the challenges I’ve overcome, and the belief that art has the power to make people feel seen. Creative isn’t just a word for me , it’s my foundation.
